I am a concept artist, animator and illustrator who graduated with a Master of Science in Animation and VFX from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, University of Dundee in the United Kingdom. My Bachelor's degree was in Communication and Mass media from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where I majored in film and television related courses.
Over the past year I have been working as an artist for an animation studio in Athens, creating storyboards and animation for clients like Google, Piraeus Bank and the Acropolis Museum. I am also working as a freelance storyboard artist for an advertising agency in Athens, creating storyboards for television advertisement briefs. In addition, I have also collaborated with a publishing house in Athens, illustrating Cleopatra Deliou's children's book.
I have been crafting stories, trying to illustrate my ideas on paper by drawing and writing since I was a kid, and I have always been mesmerised by the complexity and endless design possibilities of 2D animation. I consider the medium the very basis of animation itself and I hold endless respect for the pioneers who helped establish a whole new way of visual storytelling. Growing up, being inspired by Glen Keane and the Disney Renaissance era, as well as Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli's work, I have been enthusiastically following the big comeback of 2D animation over the past years.
I am always looking to collaborate with film, animation, design and gaming companies on creative projects, so that we can share our passion and love for the medium, and work hard together in order to bring amazing stories to life.
